Gresham Advanced Dentistry is absolutely a life saver. I have severe medical ptsd and dental ptsd, so I put off seeing a dentist for 4 years. I was so anxious about being judged for letting my teeth get so bad... but doctor Hanset was a godsend. He was SO kind and considerate about validating my feelings and fears. If you also suffer from dental anxiety, I highly recommend this amazing team. I am so happy I took the first step at getting back in control of my dental health. So thankful for Dr.Hansel!!!

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Dr. Kwon retired, but the doctors replacing him are compassionate, patient, hard working, and very professional. They look young but they have a bedside manner of gentlemen. The receptionist Nina and assistants Cassie and another lovely assistant made us feel so comfortable even though they are prepping my daughter an hour past closing time to squeeze her in for an ER. I am seriously considering switching dentists. It is the second time they have welcomed us with wonderful treatment when my dentist would not.

I had another very nice experience at Gresham Advanced Dentistry. Being a new patient there I had to have a complete set of x-rays done and a thorough cleaning and exam too. The staff there is very gentle and compassionate and are willing to explain things so you can understand what to expect and why. I can honestly say that I am not regretting my next dental appointment there. If you are looking for a Dentist in the east Portland area, I recommend Gresham Advanced Dentistry, you will not be disappointed.

I was very disappointed to learn that once again I would be treated by a new dental hygienist, with no warning. I highly doubt that this would ever happen with a change in dentist. I spend way more time with a hygienist than with a dentist. The dentist pops in briefly during my hour long appointment every 6 months. It takes me awhile to trust a new hygienist. In the past I asked that my hygienist not be changed, and that I be notified if it must happen. 6 months ago I arrived to my appointment to find a new hygienist, and the same thing happened again yesterday. Communication is important.
